Wow DAD i recived your dear elders finally and i really enjoy getting those. with those you can put as much stuff as you want in them and i have all week to read them! yes dont be afraid to send me pictures in a package sometime those are always the swweetest thing ever! mayn chopping corn eh i was thinking that you guys would be doing that sometime this week or next that's sweet. also i would like to see more pictures of my grandpa though he wont like it. just dont let him see you snap some. those are so dear to me hahah i cried i would like i cried with joy and peace! hahah only men cry just remember that!! how is brady and wess and cody? those turds never write me or anything. i have recently recived another package with pictures and money and treats..... but nearly no letter. as i searched through the packages for a letter i was bummed cause i thought the package was incomplete when then i found that mom had wrote two little notes. hahahhahah that made it complete and a
successfull send!! THANK YOU! no yellow fever card though. ive heard that you might be getting that job coming in november.. side thought i had a dream of that the other day.. we were up there clearing metal out when all of a sudden i became a missionary and i started teaching some of my investigators on the second floor of that
building........... oh a missionary mind hahahah
we will be moving up to hill station to our new apartment on the 15th of this month. unfortunently i will be loosing my companion and getting a new one on the 23 depending on the transfer news and things on weather the pres will make me a tainer or whatever he does i know not of. but we will be going away from elder sumrack and elder Ngerem soon. thats a killer! but itll be okay i think i am ready for more responsibility so on the 8th of september we have 1 baptism coiming up and on the 15th we have 6!! the work is coming so sweet. its the time and
diligence to the rules and preach my gospel that really gets people convinced to join this church. most of the people here belive in god and want to be baptized into some sort of a church. even if they are Muslim, they belive in god and christ haha a Muslim that believes Christ as their savior haha kills me every time. our teaching pool is
very very big we usually fit in about 22-24 lessons in a week. but we are teaching a almost uncountable number of people. if i would to guess how many investigators we have it would be probably around 50 or 60. but its trying to find the people who are serious about the church and want to know more about the gospel! at times its really hard to teach people cause they dont understand us or they are illiterate and cant read. thats when the spirit has to really take over and teach for us. cause we can only do so much. but we know that it is through our
obedience that we get our power to teach and to conduct the spirit of the lord from our mouths to the hearts of investigators.
So as for my health and nutrition. i am doing really well my mission president told me if i drink lots of water take doxy and sleep under my net every night i wont get sick. and i am realing on faith. faith thatwhat he has said is true. i know that since it was a testimony from him that it was recorded in hevean and as long as i follow it i will be safe! so i drink without failure 1.5 liters of water in the morining befor we go out. two watter bottles during the
day and then another 1.5 liters of watter when we get back from the time i go to bed. so in all i get more than 4 liters of water a day!! but i can say this- it pays it shows. i will honestly and truely say i have not had diarea i have not had heat stroke or had any other sickness since my first day in sierra leone!!!(other than my ear) also
i have faith that i will return weighing more taht 145!!! i know that i have gained weight and that i am getting bigger. all my mtc when they see me say that i am getting bigger. i am bad on my workouts though. i skip days here and there but thats okay! my calves are deffinently bigger than when i came on my mission. but i want to be
taller though!! i want to come home 6 foot!! or taller!! then i will have a structure to really work with to compete in the 2014-2015 crossfit olypics!! haha hahah

The amazing Wednesday with Elder Hales!!!!!! Finally, the day came that I got to go and proselyte with Elder Hales in my area. First time taking another Elder to my area as well :) but Saidu joined us and we went on up the mountain and had some SWEET lessons. All the lessons were with guys our age and wow it was so sweet. Elder Hales is a great missionary and teacher and the people understand him great :) It was so sweet to work with him. We had a sweet lesson with a boy David Mansurray. I took out the plan of salvation to teach that, but after following up on a book of mormon reading (alma 34 do not procrastinate the day of your repentance) he asked what is repentance? so I took out lesson 3, gospel of Jesus Christ and man we had the sweetest lesson
like so far on my mission. The spirit was so strong, and the boy was like, well when I prayed about the message, I started crying...So i went to sleep, is that bad? and we explained to him what he was feeling and ahh sweet sweet lesson :)
On our way down the mountain, we had a very uh...strange encounter. A drunk army man yelled at us from the other side of the road, so we went to go and see what he wanted...yeah, it is kinda uncomfortable talking to a drunk soldier with an ak in his hand, asking to have a bible. |So, we gave him a Word of wisdom track :) and he sent us on our way haha, oh Sierra Leone, you got to love it :)
From Brother and Sister Lauritzen a picture and message for mom! Brother and Sister Lauritzen are from Woodland Hills and Elder Hales would bale Sister Lauritzen sons hay up by the Dream mine!
