Desires

 I love coming home Hot Hungry and just worn out. knowing that i tried today knowing that yes i am really giving it my all. lately we have been skipping lunch just to cram some extra lessons in. i love doing what i do! Dad thank you for answering my questions that i have wrote you in a letter. i find it very nice and exciting when i hand write a letter to someone and they answer me back! haha usually everyone else is just Too lazy or "so busy" that they don't ever reply back or take the time to reread the letters that i sent them. I made a promise to myself that anyone who wrote me a letter i would write them back and get it sent off as quick as possible.i do it every time! haha anyway its okay. i read in the church  monthly magazine a story that an apostle wrote about the friend who became a stranger cause he never wrote his best friend on mission a letter. it goes to show ya just who really you made a REAL impact on. FAMILY. that's all that matters to me most now. i desire the salvation of my family and the welfare of them. i truly and learning the importance of family. one thing that i want to change focus on in my new area is to convert families or try my hardest to soften the family members to bring them ALL into the fold and not just focus on the "prime" or "golden" investigators. as we read the book of Mormon the whole thing centers around family. starts with a family and tells how to protect family... you know how??? the gospel.. the true and everlasting gospel ?? just as lehi's had the vision of the tree of life, he partook of the fruit and what??? he desired his FAMILY to also be with him and partake!!! haha its funny cause in our "The Restoration" tracts the first page has a picture of a family that they are all smiling. and one of my favorite intros is to show the picture and ask the people what they see, most generally they say " ahh fine clothes they get and they get girl kid" i shortly after say "look they face, wat ting dey de get pon dey face?" -- " they glady no so" haha which is just look at their faces they are happy and they are because they have the gospel. i know that if we follow the church standards we can strengthen our families at home! Africa is treating me so well and again i love this work and i love the people i am now in the process of making my way to my new area called kennema where i am so excited to put myself out there and learn about the people and culture and even to get a new companion to make some more memories and to be a tool! for all those missionaries out there going on missions or preparing i give you all the up most respect for doing what you are doing and wanting to serve your father in heaven. i know that the lord will bless you and that no effort will be lost in the eyes of him! A mission just as preach my gospel will be one of the most impacting things of your life and will be the time of change and learning. i can testify of that for i have seen it in my life and even seen it in the lives of my fellow mtc mates!!
