MT DEW, Training, Go on a Mission

Hey Dad,
dude everything is going so good and so crazy fast right now. just the other day and i woke up and what can i say its already march 11th so crazy! this week just went by so quick. as to where we were in Bo and we had a bunch of things to do and a couple of fun stuff. our trip to Bo was so fun and such a get away. while in Bo after we emailed we went to a super market that just opened.... i wont lie i cried a little bit. i was so overwhelmed with the place and couldn't believe just what i saw. i had totally forgot what exactly a nice "store" looked like. haha but this place was just small no bigger than our house and had what i imagined in it everything you ever needed. i sometimes think about what would happen if you took someone directly from here to our house and live like two weeks there what the person would say... haha truly im afraid to come home haha then after we went to the super super super nice market we went to this place called sabbs. its basically a place for american or foreigners to go. sabbs is a restaurant  one just like at home... now after getting a MT DEW!!! for the first time in 9 months i took it there to ea. i had a real hamburger and mayn it tore me up inside on the ride home but it was so good. truly i thought i went to the Terrestrial kingdom for a small time! but oh boy it sure did take alot of my subsistence to eat that thing. its okay though ill be careful with it and spend it like a good old D hales would at home!!! on wednesday we had to carry water again. but it was in short supply and wasnt running out of the local tap so we had to go to a well a little farther off from the apartment  can i just say i love carrying water? truely i do it makes me humble myself and get on a more personal level with my investigators and the people here. we carried it maybe a little ver .25 of a mile to home. not bad not bad. my forearms sure are getting strong!!! i bought me a new pair of ariat boots. i couldn't help myself cause i knew i could get them for cheap cheap. so i got them for 2 bucks. or 12,000 leones. they are saweet!! im going to even go teaching in them!
Okay on a more serious note i have been called to be a trainer for the next 12 weeks i will be training!!!! aAaaaaahhhh so crazy!! Elder Arikpo, my current companion is going to bo to train as well and open a new area up. elder edwards, asiedu and arhinful is going to freetown and bo. so a big big change in the apratment and district of kenema. im sure we'll be able to welcome the new comers very very well haha.
So my Dad asked us if we are teaching any families.. yes!! we are teaching three solid families. one family wants me to "bless thier marrage" haha they need to marry so they can be baptized so they dont break the comandments. and the other family we have been teaching for the past three monts and finally the father told us that he would join us in the church and be baptized!!! we have extened date after date after date to patrick, but he finally came and told us his concern. i hope and pray that in the next two months he and his family will join us. the other family was a referal from a member who just came from freetown. the story behind this family is sweet. we started on our journey to go and to find where they live. well since the address's arent and dont mean anything we went out the way anyway.. a young boy met us in a near by chiefdom called burma 3. he said he was sent from his dad to take us to his house..... i was like uuuuhhh "watin na your name?" he was the boy to the refferal... well he went and we walked and walked and walked.. i told my companion.. i dont think this is in the mission anymore., after about 35 mins of walking we were in the BUSH! very few people spoke good krio or english. just mende. well we came to find brother Justin (yeah i know first american name i have heard on my mission) and his family. we taught him lesson one and he loved it!!! committed him and his whole family to be baptized one the first lesson!! they all accepted and they all should be baptizd on the 27th of april.... yes thats my birthday!!!! such a sweet birthday for me!!! i hope it all goes well!!!
I am so excited for the next three months to be training and even to really do some serious work here in IDA branch and kenema. what a wonderful Mission!!!!
For all of those who keep up with my blogg and emails from my dad who are not on a mission. i would recomend that you look at a mission again. two years is a long time yes. but i will promise its where the lord wants you to be.. I wont lie my testimony was small and very brittle but i took those steps to prepare and get out here and i would never look back again, and if i die now i know that the lord my god is happy with me. "forget yourself and go to work" gorden b hinckley once said. there's one scripture i love so much is teh book of mormon in 2 Nephi: 32 verse 8 take out the word pray and put in "go on a mission"  DO IT!!!!
