I forgot to post last weeks.
So this week I want to share a miracle that we saw. Thursday night we were walking home. we just had a super sweet lesson with a man named Tejan. he has met with missionaries 3 years ago and is really searching for the truth and ready for his family to be in a place where the correct things are. he told us of how he has much more knowledge than most of the what they call "men of God" around here in Bo. From how the lesson went it was true, he really knew his stuff. telling us that every night at 12 to 1 that's the time that he gets out of bed and kneels down and then studies the bible... ( weird enough to say but its what a lot of these older and wiser men do here in Bo that I have met) .. but he told us of some deep questions that he thought could stump us and get us to leave really quick. But since we had the restored gospel and a greater knowledge of the things of god and ordained and entitled to increased knowledge of the scriptures, we answered all of them perfectly and he was very impressed. soon after that lesson it was a little later in the night than we usually stay up. my companion and I briskly started our walk to the roadside where we would take bike and go home. "I would like to get some bread before we get home" said my companion... after walking for about 30 seconds that way towards the bread stand my companion and i decided that it was just a little too late to be out. so we turned around and headed for the roadside. as we turned around a man came upon us quickly. scaring me really. he said "do ya i beg for god i no de get money, i wan buy bread" the man must have heard what we said about the bread comment. my companion gave him a plan of salvation track and said " we don't have money to give to people but what we do have is something that will change your life and even in the life to come" the man looked confused at the time "I promise you brother Nasi, that if you pray to God and have faith in us and our message that you will receive your food or bread before you go to bed this night. and if it be so you will take it for a testimony and come to church on Sunday" I quickly followed up with. Departing from the man we went. after a few seconds my companion and I prayed to the lord in request for Nasi to get some food... some few days went by and then came Sunday for church. as we were waiting for church to start a man walked in.... IT WAS NASI!!!! our hearts were filled with joy and a calm cool feeling came over us Elders. we talked to him. he had read the whole track wanted to more books from us and told us that our words were true he received that food we promised him!!! God is great and he is there and hears our prayers i promise of it!!! i know it for a surety there's been many instances such as this on my mission and moreover in my life that truly there is a God!
