Young Church in Kenema And Elder Curtis

HEY guys so this week is just going to be a nice and short story that i have. so this last week we had an investigator that we met named Agustine. as we are out of Book Of Mormon and restoration tracts we gave him a "testimony of Joseph Smith" and he read it on Monday night. he called us on Tuesday  so we went and saw him and to our amazement he had many questions for us and he really understood it. his only problem next was he wanted a book of Mormon so so bad. so we searched the apartment and we found one to give him and the next day we gave it too him just hoping for a little pass and greet well he wanted to have us teach him that day and so we did and he was really taking hold of it and he believes it all!! haha it was just super sweet cause of the excitement in all the learning that he had with us. to see someone just grab hold that tight on the gospel is rare!! so we followed up with him to see him almost everyday this last week!! we had many investigators at church but not him :( we were disappointed but he goes to teach at a local Muslim school and so they hold school on Sunday! This week we received transfer news and luckily im staying here in Kenema for the next transfer! BUT good news here we are receiving 22 missionaries in march!! and only a few going home!!! we are increasing in number!! missionaries yeah!! haha This is a new month and i cant wait to be able to do all i can to see the progress of all of our investigators... as for the last weeks story i told about Joseph.. he was confirmed and called to be a branch missionary for the branch!! i gave him a triple combination as a gift and he says he'll be reading it everyday!! so sweet!! that's one thing that i love here in Sierra Leone is the church is so new and growing so fast that even some of the leaders are recent converts of under 1 year!! we as missionaries have much much work to do to help the branch members know just how the church should function!! Yeah missionaries.. study up on the handbooks all the time so we know everything!! haha truly so much to learn about the church!! THE CHURCH IS SO TRUE!!
