Doing Great!

HELLO there mi papa!
okay so this is how the packages and things go here in sierra leone. they only get so much money a week or month to pay for packags to be taken out of the post office and i recived two last week! wow it was nice to get them. i love them and am sharing little by little. no potatoes mixes i can get those. i already make pancakes from scratch. make sure that everything you put in there will not break open. like the Nutella that was in there was opened and there was tons of ants and chocolate everywhere. i could totoally tell you sent one and mom sent the other one am i right? the one with all the gum in it was just missing one of two things in it. a letter or a picture :) i would rather receive a big empty box that has a picture of your face and only has a letter saying i love you more than a box full of treats.. just saying mayn. one package a month. dude that's cutting things close. haha but its your own free will! i loved the protien bars and the gum put the gum in a zip loc bag though cause of the mosture here. deer jerky. Yessss just make sure it is sealed in a very good bag like triple sealed stuff! soccer balls bad idea. i dont need to hand anything out. soccer balls i can get here for like 1 buck used that would just be a bad idea haha sorry dude i also had an idea. send me an SD card that you can put a mini SD card inside.. you know what I'm talking about like the mini's that go inside phones, that you can put inside a regular sd card. then i can send pictures home more and more. cause i could send them home through the pouch system. just a thought.

dad- you probably wont ever understand the diffrence you made im my life. when you sent me the past couple emails. i have talked to President Roggia and he has not said anything or addressed anything of
any of my concerns. but its okay cause im doing fine now and the mission is just flying by! I'm glad my card got there and i have some better pictures of my name tag that i will put in the next card send home1 so sorry for the mistyped words and stuff the cafe that we are at it seems as if someone spilled juice or something in the key board so i have to thrust my fingers down to get the keys going but its not bad. i at least get to say a few words anyway,, so the people of Sierra Leone are very receptive to the gospel and they always welcome
us in their homes no matter what. they have little to nohting but will give and give until they have nothing. its very hard as a missionary to tell them not to cook for us cause they i will cook all their food for the night just to give us a meal. cause we are messengers from god. my companion likes to chastise people for not coming to Church or following up on commitments but he doesn't realize. these people live in shacks and if it was pouring rain they have to collect the rain to live and to do things to stay alive. and then they have to prepare
dinners and things for their familes. it frustrates me when he does this tells them that they worship the rain and stuff cause they didn't come to church and you can just see in their face the shame. but its not about bringing fear of god into these peoples lives. i always try t o put myself if their shoes and to think of what i would want these messengers of god to tell me and helpp me. but my comp. is just a all gospel all gospel all gospel teaching missionary and don't get me wrong that's the way it should be but nobodys perfect and i have come
to find that out really fast. i just cant wait till i get to train in four weeks!! so i can make the next missionaries experience better than mine.. that's all i got for ya today dad. but just know that i love you so so much and hope everything is doing goodd!!
love elder dillon vern hales
